About The Pack
// Product description
“Wow! This pack might be one of the most musically interesting Hip-Hop / Downtempo packs we’ve ever heard! The Melodic Loops and Instrument One-shots are laden with nostalgia and old-school jazzy swagger. It is very impressive how every sound has a matching low-res graininess that compliments the texture and adds to the overall allure! The stylistic concept throughout this pack has been followed to perfection! If ever musically stuck this pack is here to fill that void with an extensive array of quirky and unique sounds!” – Disphonia
Ghost Syndicate knows how hard it can be to find a truly unique Hip-Hop sample pack.
That’s why tonight we’re delivering one right to your doorstep. But you know the folks around the neighbourhood, so better pick it up quick, or else it might get nicked.
Inside the dusty parcel, you will find DOWNTOWN: a combustive new set of sonic tools meant to take you for a trip in both space and time.
Feel the spirit of the rundown neighbourhoods of Brooklyn, where seldom a car drives by without the driver throwing a suspicious glance at you; where no street is safe to walk at night, and where the only way you can survive is either to constantly balance on the edge of law, or keep it real and make it with your music.
We strongly recommend the latter.
“Great as always from the ghost syndicate crew! this pack offers so much depth and interesting textures your just keep coming back for more. The hits sounds amazing and the melodic loops are fantastic, If i was a budding young producer id get involved with these guys asap!” – Document One
DOWNTOWN is here to help you with that, as it’s a perfect collection for giving your beats that urban 80’s feel with dusty grooves and crispy one-shots to begin with;
An extensive set of shaker & tambourine loops will give your tracks that offbeat twist.
The melodic side comes in blurred out vinyl pads and shadowy, minor-key chord progressions. Wrapped around the jazz-flavoured piano licks, it’s certain to breath that slummy air into your tracks.
Also, be sure to expect a bunch of slick whistling leads and tricky FX bits, and much, much more to help you create a Hip-Hop track with a genuine old-school palate.
